Who we are

Harmonik is made by HARMONIK LLC, a Florida limited liability company, document number L26000452156, at 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, United States. Anything on this page, reach us at hello@harmonikmidi.com.

The application collects nothing

The Harmonik macOS application makes no network connections of any kind. It has no account system, no licence check that calls home, no analytics, no crash reporting and no update pings. It does not read your files beyond the settings it saves on your own Mac.

What you play, which scales you use and which chords you write never leave your computer, because there is nothing in the application that could send them.

What this website does not do

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no session recording, and it writes nothing to your browser's storage. There is no consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to.

What this website does involve

Three things touch your data anyway, and you should know about all three.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs: your IP address, the time of the request, and your browser's user agent. That is how the page reaches you and how the service is protected from abuse. We do not build profiles from it.

Typefaces

The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from fonts.googleapis.com andfonts.gstatic.com, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We receive nothing from it.

The mailing list

If you type your email address into the form and submit it, we get your email address. That is the only field, and we use it for one thing: telling you when Harmonik ships. No newsletter, no sharing, no selling it on. Today the form opens a message in your own mail application addressed to us, so nothing is stored on this site at all.

Email

Mail sent to hello@harmonikmidi.compasses through Cloudflare Email Routing and is forwarded to our inbox. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful to have it.

Payment

Harmonik is not sold through this site yet. When it is, Stripe will process the payment and we will never receive or store your card number. This page will be updated before that happens, not after.

Keeping it, and getting rid of it

We hold list addresses until you ask us to remove yours or until we stop running the list, whichever comes first. To be removed, mailhello@harmonikmidi.com. You do not need to give a reason and we will not ask for one.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see what we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or receive a copy of it. This includes people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom under the GDPR, and residents of California under the CCPA. Mail us and we will do it. Given the above, the answer is usually "your email address, and nothing else".

Children

Harmonik is a professional music tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We will not quietly widen what we collect and leave this page saying otherwise.
